Sass, Soul & Second Winds

Vibrant Life for Women After 50!

Reset your rhythms. Reclaim your time. Revive your spark.

Next Cohort Starts Sunday April 12, 7pm

When a group of women come together with shared intention, something special happens.

A living quality emerges, inviting us to be real,

to question, and to explore.

It’s uplifting, enriching, and never the same twice.

You’ve lived, loved, worked, cared, prioritized others, built, mended, and held a lot together.

And now? Something in you is ready for a different depth or quality of living.

With so much that is chaotic and concerning in the world right now, it's harder yet more important than ever to hold your centre.

By tuning in more deeply to what’s true for you now, you can see your next steps without starting over or trying to fix everything.

Sass, Soul & Second Winds is a guided, relational experience for women who want to live from the inside out, with more rhythm, presence, and creative aliveness.

Rather than endlessly chasing more information, we create the space and continuity for insight to settle into your body, your nervous system, and your daily life.

This is where curiosity replaces self-criticism.

Where energy is stewarded, not leaked.

Where joy, vitality, and presence are reclaimed as essential, not optional.

“I found great value in making time to explore aspects of being a woman in midlife, pursuing the ways to thrive and build confidence in myself.”
– J.B.P.

If you’re here, you’re already listening.
And you already belong.

How will this group program help you?

Some of the first shifts women described were:

~Feeling calmer and less reactive in everyday moments

~Less mental noise, less rumination, more presence

~More available energy

~Clearer boundaries, and more ease saying yes and no

~A kinder relationship with food, rest, and their body

~A return of joy, playfulness, and confidence

“I love the way I feel more grounded and centered

and full of wonder instead of stress.” – S.J. M.

Affectionately nicknamed Sass Class, this is an online

8-week

guided group experience

for women 50+

who want to live in alignment

with their vitality, creativity,

and inner truth.

Designed to respect the way life actually works at this stage:

full lives,

real responsibilities,

changing bodies,

and deeper questions.

It’s rooted in:

Body Respect

Nervous System Safety

Rhythm Repair

Nourishment (in every sense of the word)

Curiosity and Self-Compassion

And yes… it’s Fun!

“It helps you to recenter, get grounded, learn tools to take care of yourself, and come back home to you.”– A.C.

Crucially, this program is alive and breathing.

It’s shaped in response to the women who are in the room.

The teachings, resources, and practices evolve with the group, meeting real questions and real lives as they unfold.

According to the dictionary, sass means boldness, vigor, and spirit.

Could you use a bit more of that?

Get started with some sneak peaks and don't miss news of registration opening!

Looking back, I appreciate the supported sequence of topics covered with an intentional flow and journey - and the connection with the other program participants.

I loved the Sass Dares and checking-in prompts.

I now have a positive sense of self and confidence to embrace the adventures ahead; a sense of alignment between my actions and my values. A sense of belonging and a right to express my sass!

I am proud of having invested in this growth experience. Thank you so much.

-J.B.P.

"I was feeling like a rope being pulled at both ends and the ends were fraying and close to unraveling.

I knew I needed help to become realigned and wanted to do this naturally.

While I was worried about how to fit the course into my schedule, I made it work even if I couldn’t be on the call in person. I scheduled watching the replay as soon as I could - I didn't want to miss anything!.

I leave the “sass class” feeling calmer and more in control (flow state) of my everyday life. I have the tools to be a better version of myself by caring for myself as much as I do others."

- K.N.

"I enjoyed the whole course experience.

Each part was very meaningful and inspirational to me.

I feel so grateful to have been part of this course, Anna Jean.

It has felt like such a wonderful gift that I have given to myself. I feel more open to challenges in light of staying in a state of wonder and experimentation.

I appreciate the time, care and love you put into the delivery of the information. Thank you so much."

-S.J.M.

A personal invitation 💖

You are a part of a remarkable group of mature women who have so much to offer this world and such an important voice. Following a powerful first round of this program, I am thrilled to invite you to join our second round of SaaS, Soul, and Second Winds.

A Space Designed for You In our first round, participants helped me refine this into the best possible space for deep reconnection and realignment.

I have worked hard to ensure this program is not too information-heavy; instead, we focus on:

• Small, doable steps that align with your values and lead to real progress.

• A "simple" and "profound" approach that is not time-consuming.

• Flexibility that is compatible with busy schedules or even traveling.

The Power of the "Yes" I have seen through my work with clients that simply saying "yes" to carving out time for yourself is a mighty win that creates ripples throughout your entire life. This commitment allows you to check in with your inner compass and ensure you are living a life that truly lights you up.

Our Community of Co-Cheerleaders One of the most beautiful aspects of this program is our group of co-cheerleaders. It is often easy to see beauty in others while struggling to see it in ourselves; this group serves as an antidote to that, providing a space where we support and celebrate one another.

Join Us! An absolutely marvelous group is already forming for this second round, and I would love for you to be a part of it. If you have been on the fence or felt you didn't have the bandwidth, I encourage you to give it a chance. I would be deeply happy to have you join us!

I hope to see you there!

With love,

Anna Jean

Hi there!

I'm Anna Jean Bradley and I have spent the last 40+ years supporting & learning from thousands of people through profound change and growth.

Much of that in my work as a Registered Midwife and Certified Focusing Professional.

I have always been interested in what makes life healthier and happier, so along the way I voraciously studied, trained in many modalities and have been teaching aspects of Whole Life Wellbeing for many years.

Nearing retirement from clinical practice, I trained and certified as a coach, and earned the designation HCA-Registered Health & Nutrition Counsellor.

I specialized in gut health, and post training poured myself into the research to create a program to reduce stress & burnout and increase resilience & satisfaction amongst midwives.

Seeing the profound changes these skills, approaches and techniques have made in their lives, I realized that I wanted to offer some of these powerful perspectives to mature women, and create a space where we could be more fully ourselves.

And, after about 9 months of creation, Sass Soul & Second Winds was born, midwifed carefully into splendid being by the beautiful beta group.

I trust you will find it deeply empowering, and also a LOT of fun!

Some of the Vital Skills you will

strengthen & deepen:

01

Interoception & Inner Knowing

The ability to perceive your body’s internal signals and listen for the deeper, non-linear knowing that arises from lived experience and inner alignment.

This awareness strengthens self-trust, so choices feel clearer, and inform your response to your needs with confidence, and ease. collaborating with your body rather than overriding it.

02

Attention Sovereignty & Discernment

The ability to notice, direct, and reclaim where your focus goes, and to sort what is truly aligned from what is merely loud, urgent, or habit-driven.

Attention becomes something you steward rather than surrender. When focus is no longer pulled entirely outward, the opportunity for discernment becomes accessible again. You choose from wholeness instead of reactivity, protecting your energy and restoring clarity, joy, and alignment in daily life.

03

Nervous System & Brain–Gut Axis Literacy

An embodied understanding of how your nervous system and digestive system communicate with each other, and how stress, safety, nourishment, and rhythm shape both mood and physical wellbeing.

This develops your ability to support your system in ways that reduce inflammation, steady energy, and improve focus, hormonal tuning and emotional regulation. Reach beyond reacting to symptoms and create the conditions for grounded clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of wellbeing from the inside out.

04

Self-Compassion & Emotional Intelligence

The ability to meet yourself with kindness rather than criticism, especially in moments of struggle or uncertainty, and to identify, understand, and work constructively with your emotional experience.

Meeting yourself with kindness and emotional honesty allows feelings to move without taking over. Self-compassion fuels courage, reduces reactivity, and cultivates the space for growth with grace.

05

Subtle Energy Awareness

A deepened ability to notice and influence the flow of subtle energie - exploring subtle energy both as a way of getting to know ourselves on a different wavelength and a way to try out a number of practical tools and see which are supportive to your system. You become more attuned to when and how to act, rest, connect, or protect, bringing more ease, clarity, and vitality in daily life.

06

Soulful Resilience & Creative Courage

We hold so much that cannot be fixed, yet must be carried.

Grief, caregiving, and uncertainty are part of the fabric of our lives. As we better learn how to carry what is real while staying connected to meaning, becoming more receptive to life’s possibilities and pleasures, we develop soulful, holistic resilience. This is the capacity to walk with what is true without hardening, while still being present in the beauty of life.

Creative Courage
Creativity here includes many arts, from lip syncing to life design. Courageous creativity is a natural energy source that helps convert depletion into inspiration and keeps us mentally nimble. It’s where we surprise and delight ourselves, explore new possibilities, express ourselves authentically, and make life choices that feel aligned, even when circumstances are imperfect.

How do you want to live the years ahead?

“I feel more open to challenges in light of staying in a state of wonder and experimentation.”

CHOOSE YOUR OWN LEVEL

Sculpt your participation to fit your current season, capacity, and life

This program is designed for and inclusive of a flexible range of participation.

A lighter level level of participation might include:

*Weekly lessons (10-15 mins) and call replays are available in audio only so you can listen on the go if you want

*About 5-10 minutes a day with your journal

*A short daily energy practice, if you want

*Brief check-ins in the Sass Circle group space when you can

(Our chat is NOT on social media so you don't get distracted!)

This is more than enough to experience meaningful shifts.

If your time and energy are a little freer (which of course can shift from week to week):

*You’re welcome to go deeper!

*You’ll find optional practices, reflections, and resources in the weekly modules and regularly shared in the Circle.

*Spend more time interacting and with your journal

*You can follow what interests you, dive in where it feels right, just dip your toes in the water when that's what feels right.

There is no wrong way to be part of this group !

  • "I was worried how I could possibly fit it into my schedule, but thought if I don’t do it now, I might not do it at all and I’m worth the investment in myself to help me to help others in the process.

Once we started, I didn’t want to miss any sessions and looked forward to the recordings when I couldn’t make it." K.N.

WEEKLY THEMES

The path we take:

Week 1: Coming Home to You
We begin by establishing safety, presence, and self-trust. We reconnect with our bodies as wise, self-healing systems and learn how curiosity and compassion are vital precursors for meaningful change.

Week 2: Deep Tuning In
We listen more closely to our bodies' signals, sensations, and subtle cues. Interoception becomes a compass, helping us respond with awareness rather than react on autopilot.

Week 3: Rhythm & Renewal
We explore the rhythms that shape your energy, attention, and nervous system. Gentle boundaries, breath, and rest help restore clarity and flow without striving.

Week 4: Releasing What Drains You
We begin to identify hidden energy leaks and inner conflicts that have exhausting our energies . By meeting them with curiosity rather than force, capacity and focus start to return.

Week 5: Nourish to Flourish
Nourishment expands beyond food to include pleasure, receptivity, and relationship. We learn how small, sensory-engaged practices support digestion, vitality, and satisfaction from the inside out.

Week 6: Tending the Flame
This week is about sustaining aliveness. Deep rest, playfulness, boundaries, and creativity are reclaimed as biological needs that support flow and resilience.

Week 7: Making It Yours
We widen the lens to include joy and vitality alongside grief, caregiving, and global concerns. We learn to place our energies with discernment, prioritising where we have influence, restoring agency and steadiness.

Week 8: The You That’s Rising
The journey comes together as you listen for what is ready to emerge now. Past dreams are honoured, new possibilities clarified, and your next chapter becomes a conscious choice.

THE STRENGTH OF COMMUNITY

There is something uniquely wonderful about women gathering in a safe, intentional space.

Our group is a place of grounded encouragement, mutual witnessing, shared wisdom, and spacious support. Laughter, tenderness and encouragement all take the stage.

The group is central to the magic. Each woman’s presence shapes the experience as we offer each other insight, courage, and momentum.

  • "I loved that each one shared openly and honestly. I loved that each one felt heard, seen, known, and accepted. Each one encouraged the others to walk their respective paths and offered their support and full belief that the personal curious experiments were valid and important." A.C.

  • "I loved how we came together as a group of women who shared so openly and supported each other in our unique experiences. It felt very safe." S.M.

  • "This journey with this group of women was spectacular."

More Questions?

Can you tell me the nuts and bolts of how it's delivered?

Before each call, including the first one, you will watch, listen to or read (at your convenience) a 10-15 minute Essence Drop: the recorded reflection that shares the core ideas, perspectives, and practices we'll be exploring in the coming week.

Each 60 minute Live Call after the first one follows a similar arc to support presence, insight, and integration.

We’ll begin with an energy medicine practice to ground and centre, then open the space for shared reflection and discussion around the week’s theme.

Then, a guided internal experience to nourish deeper awareness, followed creating a simple personal pact (intention) for your week ahead.

When time permits we close with a coaching segment where one or more women will be supported 1:1, while the rest of the group witnesses with loving presence while discovering resonance, clarity, or movement in their own process.

Ideally, after the call, you will spend a few minutes jotting down your insights in your journal, and a few more minutes most days.

For the rest of the week, the action shifts to our Sass Circles, with the Tuesday Sass Booster (resource drop) for those who want to take the themes further, Wednesday Check In, and the ever popular Sass Dare on Fridays!

Within your module resources you will find cards for each energy practice we completed, additional resources, and all the formats for the calls and recordings.

Who is this for? Who is this not for?

This program is for women who:

Want to honour their energy and live in ways that feel more sustainable

Feel a desire to live more fully and more freely, even if life feels complex right now

Want to deepen their stewardship of their emotional, physical, and inner resources

Sense that joy, vitality, and presence are still available, and perhaps more essential than ever

Are navigating change, caregiving, or transition and want support without fixing or bypassing

Appreciate depth, warmth, humour, and learning alongside other thoughtful women

Who is this not for?

This program may not be the best fit if you:

Are looking for quick fixes, rigid systems, or prescriptive plans

Prefer high-pressure accountability or being told exactly what to do

Are not interested in reflection, inner awareness, or group-based learning

What if my schedule is unpredictable?

That’s expected. The program is designed to flex with your time and energy.

Essence drops are pre-recorded for your convenience and can be watched, listened to or read the full transcript or the provided "Condensed Notes".

Journalling can be a few sentences or as long as you like.

On busy weeks you can skip all the extras entirely.

You'll want to make the live calls whenever you can, for the full interactive experience, but past participants report that the replays were a very effective way to keep pace with the group, especially since the conversation continues all week in our chat, The Sass Circle.

Even a light level of participation is going to be surprisingly rich.

Do I need any special equipment?

Fear not!

I spend time in the beginning making sure you know how to find your way around on the course platform.

The program is online, so you will need an internet connection.

You can access zoom calls and all the modules and materials from a phone, however it is a better experience from a laptop or desktop computer, especially if you are not super tech savvy! For eg. it is much easier to see the group and to find you options and controls during a desktop zoom call compared to joining from a phone.

A printer is handy if you like a physical copy of the resources.

And if you have any questions at all or need any help finding or accessing anything, I am there to help.

Is all this information not readily available online?

There is no shortage of good information available.

What’s often missing is context, continuity, and a space where insight can become lived experience.

Slowing down enough to notice what’s already present, working with your nervous system and energy in real time, and integrating what you learn through gentle practice, reflection, and conversation is more important than consuming endless amounts of random information.

Another aspect of what makes this different is the container. You’re not doing this alone or trying to translate information on your own. The live calls, shared inquiry, and community support help patterns become visible and shifts become sustainable.

And finally, this work is relational. It’s shaped in response to the women who are in the room. The teachings, resources, and practices evolve with the group, meeting real questions and real lives as they unfold.

Do I need prior experience with this kind of work?

No. You don’t need a background in meditation, journaling, energy work, or group programs. Everything is introduced in accessible ways, and you’re encouraged to engage at your own pace.

Your life experience to date fully qualifies you to experience and benefit from this program.

If you are still reading, I hope it's because you are feeling a resounding "YES"

See you in Class!
